Bonjour et bienvenue!

"Bonjour et bienvenue" to the Alliance Française de Cambridge website.

The Alliance Française is the world's leading association for the teaching of French and promoting French culture. It has a much respected reputation in over 140 countries.

At the local level we aim to provide a "bridge" to everything French in and around Cambridge. We are here to help in whatever way we can: teaching the language, sharing conversation in French, reading and discussing books, enjoying French food and wine, watching French cinema, making trips to France et encore...

The Alliance Française is also keen to involve the many people from France and from French-speaking countries around the world who live in and around Cambridge and to serve as a meeting point for anyone who shares our love of France.

On the following pages you can see the range of what we offer. We hope that you will come to see us and take part in our little bit of France in Cambridge.

Club de Lecture


The next meeting of the club de lecture will take place on Friday 17th September 2010 when we will be discusing Bonjour Tristesse by Françoise Sagan.
