The Alliance Française is the oldest cultural organisation of its kind in the world and has become an invaluable link to the French language and culture.
The Alliance Française de Cambridge was created in 1982 and has established a very strong reputation for the quality of its teaching and cultural events.
More recently, the Alliance has teamed up with its Italian counterpart, la Dante, now sharing our premises.
Our courses
The Alliance Française has an excellent reputation for high quality teaching of French with its team of experienced and trained native-speaker teachers. We teach French at all levels from beginners to advanced. There are classes in the daytime and classes in the evenings. We aim to offer as broad a range of cultural activities as possible so that people can practise French and discover French culture in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. Our vision
On top of this we are working to offer more new and innovative ideas that will appeal to a wide range of people. Our aim is to open the door to the whole of the French-speaking world! Cambridge, with its very international population, is an ideal place to make this happen.

We are sometimes looking for new tutors and may contact you for an interview.
